This is the menu that promises to
capture your loved one’s heart. It is also just a really nice family
dinner.
Back in January 2004, Glamour published a recipe for
"Engagement Chicken," so called because soon after staffers whipped
it up, their boyfriends popped the question. When Glamour
reader Laura Wheeler made it for her guy, she topped it off with her
self-titled "Hook-Him
Apple Pie." Sure enough, he proposed. Will these recipes
work for you? Try 'em.

A unique dining experience: Four
hours of food! James Beard would be so proud.
This listen and learn demo dinner
party will show you that two can cook as happily as one. They can
make the same mess as a class of 16, only this time the class dines,
watches, responds and Myra, Neil, Chef Roberto and Chef Pete do the
cooking. By evening’s end, your tummy will be full, your spirits
lifted and you will count the days to the next party.
Each of 12 courses will be served by
our fabulous wait staff and constant questions and answers will be
fielded. This is the class to bring your friend or spouse that
doesn’t want to cook but enjoys dining out, seeing unique food
presentation and tasting freshly prepared selections.
Lots of eating will happen, and you
will hear and see how the courses are prepared. At the end of the
evening, get all the recipes to take home and try for yourself.
12 courses, starting with soup and
ending with nuts. Wait staff will serve each course and chef Roberto
will be on hand to offer his professional expertise.
